Dr. Kee completed his undergraduate studies at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland, followed by an internship in the Department of Medicine and Surgery at Jervis St. Hospital, also in Dublin. He completed two residencies in Internal Medicine and Radiology at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin, as well as
two fellowships, one in
Thoracic Imaging at UCSF, and the other in
Interventional Radiology at Stanford University. In addition, Dr. Kee earned his Masters Degree in Radiological Sciences from the University College in Dublin. Dr. Kee served as Associate Professor of Radiology and Surgery at Stanford University, as well as Associate Professor at the VA Medical Center in Palo Alto, California.
The major responsibilities that Dr. Kee will undertake are to strengthen the interventional radiology services and focus on improving the quality of those services. Dr. Kee aspires to create
the most preeminent training program.
Dr. Kee and his team plan to optimize staffing levels, the number and qualities of procedures performed, and develop different ways of treating patients.
by exercising a marketing program that will consists of various activities such as basic phone communications, letters, flyers and community dinner lectures. Dr. Kee's first community lecture series is set on
Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at Melisse Restaurant. His lecture is entitled,
"Endovascular Therapy for the Treatment of Acute Deep Vein Thrombosis".
