The Department of Radiological Sciences is pleased to announce the addition of new faculty, Dr. Colin Wells, Assistant Professor of Radiology.
Dr. Wells received his medical degree from the Creighton University School of Medicine, Nebraska, in 1976. He completed a Diagnostic Radiology Residency in the University of California, Davis, in 1983. He continued his training in Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland Oregon and completed one-year fellowship in Body Computed Tomography and Ultrasound in 1984. In the year of 2003, he completed another fellowship in Magnetic Resonance Imaging in RadNet Management in Los Angeles, California.

Before joining the faculty at UCLA Radiology, Dr. Wells was in private practice, most recently as director of breast MRI for RadNet management. Prior to this he was involved in a busy obstetric ultrasound and women's imaging practice.

Dr. Wells' clinical interests are breast imaging, especially breast MRI and women's imaging. Outside of medicine, he has a great interest in SCUBA diving, golf, jazz and the American Musical Theater.
