Research Interests

Dr. Ragavendra has done pioneering research work in "ultrasound compression technique" for Lower Extremity Deep Venous Thrombosis. He was also an early proponent for the use of sonography in the evaluation of the spinal cord of infants and children as well as the use of contrast agent and harmonic imaging to visualized placental blood flow.

Current Research Projects


•	Elasticity of Thyroid Nodules Using Fine Needle Probing.
•	Measuring the Compact Density of Thyroid Nodules Using Miniature Sensors.
•	Classification of Thyroid Nodules.
