The Breast Imaging Department encompasses Westwood and Santa Monica Campuses. The medical staff is world renowned specialists in both benign and malignant breast diseases. The technical staff is certified by the national American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) both in Radiology and Mammography.
Both centers are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR), and meets Food and Drug Administrations (FDA) Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA).

Digital mammography is the most technologically advanced equipment available for the early detection of breast abnormalities. Early detection provides the best chance to treat breast cancer successfully. With the use of digital technology, screening mammograms can now be performed within 10 to 12 minutes. Images are obtained and stored electronically, thereby allowing them to be viewed at either location. Electronic storage eliminates lost films.
