UCLA Medical Center-Center for the Health Sciences

The UCLA Medical Center is situated on the south side of the UCLA campus in Westwood Village, a community in the Santa Monica foothills, a few miles from the Pacific Ocean. The UCLA Medical Center is the primary training facility of the diagnostic radiology residency training program.  The Medical Center has over 650 beds and performs over 250,000 diagnostic radiological and nuclear medicine procedures annually.  Adjacent to the main hospital, the UCLA Medical Plaza, composed of 100, 200 and 300 buildings, provides an outstanding source of training in outpatient radiology.


Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center

Located between UCLA Medical Center and the Pacific Ocean, this 400-bed facility exposed residents to both inpatient and outpatient settings and to the elevated standards of service and communication inherent to these environments.  On a daily basis, residents interface with a full and diverse complement of general and subspecialty physicians.  Approximately 7 faculty members interact with rotating residents on a regular basis.


West Los Angeles Veterans Administration Medical Center

The West Los Angeles Veterans Administration Medical Center is a tertiary referral center for the VA Healthcare system with over 700 beds and is located one mile from the UCLA Medical Center.  The West Los Angeles VA Radiology Department performs over 80,000 diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures annually and has 11 full-time faculty. 


Olive View-UCLA Medical Center

The core of this Los Angeles County hospital is a 250-bed acute care facility, located approximately 20 miles north of the UCLA Medical Center.  Over 80,000 diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures are performed annually with 11 full-time faculty.


Children's Hospital Los Angeles Medical Center

Children's Hospital Los Angeles treats nearly 58,000 patients a year in its Emergency Department. It admits nearly 11,000 children a year to the hospital, and nearly 50% of those admissions are children under four years of age. There are more than 287,000 visits a year to its 29 outpatient clinics and laboratories; nearly 5,000 visits at community sites through its Division of Adolescent Medicine. Children's Hospital Los Angeles is able to offer the optimum in multidsciplinary care, with 33 pediatric subspecialties and dozens of special services for children and families.
